こちらの写真は今年5月中旬にナイトツアーで撮影したウトウ。大きなイワシを加えて巣に戻ってきました。

日没の時間帯こそ、海鳥たちのドラマが熱くなる瞬間。ウトウが苦労して捕らえた獲物を、空中で待ち構えるウミネコたちが執拗に狙い、さらにはウトウ同志でも他の個体から魚を奪い取ろうとする瞬間があったりと、鳥たちの自然界でのサバイバルが繰り広げられます。

普段都会では見ることのできない、生存を賭けた自然界のリアルな瞬間は当ナイトツアーの大きなの魅力です。

来年もゴールデンウィークから7月下旬にかけて、この命のドラマを観察できるツアーを実施いたしますのでお楽しみに！

The time around sunset is when the real drama of the seabirds heats up.
Black-tailed Gulls are constantly waiting in the air, aggressively targeting the fish the Auklets have worked so hard to catch. Adding to the tension, there are even moments when Auklets without fish will attempt to steal the catch from others. It’s a true display of survival in the wild.

This raw, real-life moment—a fierce struggle for existence rarely witnessed in urban settings—is a major highlight of our Night Tour.

We will be conducting this tour again next year, allowing you to observe this drama of life from the end of April through late July. We look forward to seeing you!
