**焼尻島に咲く花

エゾチドリ**

自然公園の遊歩道を歩いていると、
まるで別世界に迷い込んだような気持ちになります。
ここが島であることさえ、つい忘れてしまいます。

春を彩ったエゾエンゴサクの季節も終わり、
今度は夏の花たちが静かに咲き始めました。

ふと遊歩道の脇に目を向けると、
そこにはエゾチドリの姿があります。

すらりとした姿と気品のある佇まいは、
まるで森の貴婦人のよう。
しばし足を止めて眺めていると、
歩き疲れたことも忘れさせてくれます。

Ezo Chidori**

A walk through Yagishiri Nature Park feels like stepping into another world.
Surrounded by the quiet beauty of the forest, it is easy to forget that you are on a small island in the Sea of Japan.

The season of the Ezo-engosaku has passed,
and now the flowers of summer are beginning to bloom.

Along the side of the trail, I find the delicate Ezo Chidori.

With its graceful form and elegant presence,
it stands like a lady of the forest.
Pausing for a moment to admire it,
I find myself forgetting the fatigue of the walk.

Ezo Chidori is one of the charming wild orchids that bloom in Hokkaido, adding a quiet beauty to the island’s summer landscape.
